Treville Beach Club – Positano

Clear blue skies, the sound of waves hitting pebbles on the beach, a scent of sun lotion in the air, sandals, and swimsuits. Proper summertime stuff.
I can’t tell you how good it feels. But I’m sure you already know.

Last weekend we found our Italian summertime paradise in a small corner of the Positano coast.

On the same beach as the restaurant, I told you about earlier, Da Adolfo.

This time you can hop on board this boat from the Positano Pier (every hour from 10.00).

On Laurito beach, neighbouring the famous Da Adolfo, awaits Treville Beach Club where you can enjoy a day on the beach with sunbeds & umbrellas, floating bean bags and cabana with advance reservations. We rented sunbeds & umbrellas for 25 EUR each and the charming hosts served us with prosecco, water and snacks.

It truly was one of the most perfect of summer days on the Amalfi coast; clear blue sea right in front of you, snoozing under a book and dipping in and out of the sea for hours. From the restaurant, you can catch the scents of wild herbs, lemon and aromas of grilled fish.

I have got so many questions about my EllennJames bag so here’s a link to their Etsy store.

And of course, I’m sure you’re as impressed by the simple and elegant interiors as I am – don’t they just soothe your every sense and blend in so well with the rugged coastline.

I know where I will be staying overnight next time we come to Positano. Hidden away from the hustle and bustle, at night it would feel like my very own tranquil summertime paradise.

Is the beach inaccessible after 7pm? Or are starlit strolls along the surf line possible? How about sunrise beach walks? Obviously, there are no bonfires on the beach. Does that mean no s’mores either? Still, it is a beautiful spot!

Hi Sue! As far as I know, you can stay at the beach only till 7pm unless you’re a guest at the club’s B&B. Apparently there are very steep stairs to the beach – about 1000 of them so the best way to get there is a boat which goes back and forth throughout the day. Long sandy beaches for bonfires and s’mores don’t really exist on this rocky and rugged coastline. We are going to Portugal in July and I think the beaches there are more like it 🙂

Thanks, Caroliina! Seems a shame, doesn’t it — no moonlight swims, bonfires, and s’mores? lol. I’m looking forward to your posts about Portugal. 🙂

It was so nice I wish I could have stayed overnight (for a month!!) We have had some amazing times in Sweden too 🙂 We especially loved Sandhamn Island, ferry goes from central Stockholm. Definitely, check it out if you’re going to Stockholm. Plus, shopping in Sweden is amazing!

Ah Stockholm is the best place to shop haha! Ooh, I didn’t know about the island – we’ll definitely check it out. We’ve got three spare days in Stockholm. J booked a hotel with a bathtub and I can’t wait to have a proper bath with some goodies from Lush haha! 😀

Positano definitely is one of those places everyone should visit at least once – and this little beach club was a cherry on top 🙂
