In London, you’re spoiled for choice of places to watch sunsets. I have a great, and free, spot by St Paul’s for you today.
On Sunday we zoomed up a glass lift and discovered a public rooftop terrace at One New Change with panoramic views over many of London’s famous landmarks. The terrace overlooks St Paul’s Cathedral and offers views across the London skyline. Depending on where you stand, you can see the London Eye, The Shard and all the way across The City.
There is also a restaurant here: Madison’s Restaurant and Bar with a lively atmosphere and great cocktails. Be sure to book if you’re visiting the restaurant.
If there’s a queue outside the lifts, it’s for the Madison Restaurant and you can skip it by using the lift on the right-hand side.
What a perfect spot for watching the sun sink over the rooftops of London and colouring the sky in soft shades of pink.
All you need is some sunshine! The best things in life are free.
PS. This spot is still somewhat unknown to tourists, so no crowds 🙂
