We have always been huge fans of Yotam Ottolenghi, his Middle Eastern / Mediterranean fusion cooking, restaurants and delis – I have some of his cookbooks and keep trying new recipes from them that are healthy food, rather than health food – all made with fresh ingredients, and very vegetable-focused. For our fifth anniversary lunch, we decided to head to his new restaurant NOPI in Soho to celebrate.
We started with roast aubergine, tamarind yoghurt, pickled lemon and pistachios.
Followed by seared scallops.
