Hi everyone! I have made some changes at my workplace, and from this week onwards my schedule will be slightly more relaxed. Now I can really invest time in my interior design studies and spend more time with my favourite thing, my blog.
As usual, we are always looking for any reason to celebrate and this new beginning certainly served as one. Riz and I decided to head out for some proper tapas. And not just any tapas – Barrafina tapas. They are hands down, the best I’ve ever had outside Spain. This tiny restaurant has been named Britain’s best restaurant at the National Restaurant Awards.
We didn’t go the original Barrafina on Frith Street, but the radiant Adelaide Street restaurant.
There are no reservations, so get ready to queue up. Once in, the tapas are life-changing good.

There are 29 burgundy barstools along one sweeping marble counter so its a snug affair. You can watch the chefs at work and enjoy regional dishes from around Spain.
Bread and olive oil.
Delicious Queen Scallop Ceviche.
Melt in your mouth crab croquetas.
Classic tortilla with potato and caramelised onions.
Mojo Picón Chicken Wings.
Asparagus in tempura and chilli mayo.
Turron with almonds and honey.
Before lunch, we spent our morning at the Tate Britain. You can read about it here.
A big thank you to all active followers and commentators, appreciate each of your visits very much! Have a great Sunday ❤️
